In summary, India's population is widely dispersed across its districts, with some regions experiencing higher population sizes than others. The northern states along the Gangetic plains are home to the significant majority of the country's population, but big cities across the nation also have a significant concentration of people. It's important to note, however, that population size and population density aren't always synonymous, as some areas may have a smaller population but a higher population density due to their smaller land area. Overall, India's population distribution is complex and diverse, with unique patterns and challenges in each region.
